FILES.TXT for the Configuration Directory -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This document describes the important files in this directory. The Mbedthis AppWeb build system is based on the GNU autoconf system. To enhance portability to non-unix systems, pure autoconf is not used. The key directories and files are: File Purpose ---------------------------- config.args - Saved command line from the last configure invocation. config.cache - Saved current configure settings. config.defaults - Factory defaults. config.guess - Script to guess the current build system identity. Makefile - Makefile. Used to clean the directory. make.rules.LINUX - Linux make file rules included by every Makefile. make.rules.SOLARIS - Solaris make file rules included by every Makefile. make.rules.WIN - Windows make file rules included by every Makefile. template.config.h - Template used by configure to create config.h. template.config.make - Template used by configure to create config.make. template.config.sh - Template used by configure to create config.sh. binary.defaults - Copy of the file from the appWeb directory source.defaults - Copy of the file from the appWeb directory appWeb directory ---------------------- This directory is only supplied when checking out via the Subversion repository.
