Synopsis:
   load columns

Description:
   This script reformats private and channel messages (sent and received)
   such that they are given a columnar appearance.  All messages are
   formatted to the 11th column in the display.

   This script was used to demonstrate the $[]var notation.  It includes
   the $format() function.
